Spotlight Study

SOAR (State of Ohio Adversity and Resilience)

Ohio is stronger with healthy individuals, families and communities, but poor mental and physical health are barriers to realizing their full potential for too many Ohioans.

Ohioans ages 12 and up, along with their family members, can help build a healthier Ohio by participating in this study to help us understand factors that contribute to risk and resilience, which can inform and guide new strategies for prevention, treatment, recovery and resilience.

The Study involves at least one in-person visit and one or two additional visits, either in person or virtually.

Study Procedures include:

- Physical and mental health screening

- MRI and EEG brain scan

- Blood draw

- Surveys sent to your phone

- Questionnaires and assessments for risk and resilience

-Compensation: Up to $325
