Amit Bhattacharya, PhD
Lab Director
Dr. Amit Bhattacharya holds a Ph.D. degree in biomedical/mechanical engineering and a M.S. in fluid mechanics/heat transfer, both from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, U.S.A. He is a tenured Professor of Environmental Health & also a professor in Biomedical Engineering & Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. He is the founding director of the Early Detection of Degenerative Disorders & Innovative Solutions Lab (EDDI Lab) of the Department of Environmental Health and was recently named a senior member of the National Academy of Inventors.

Chris DiCesare
Chris is a Computer Science and Engineering doctoral candidate in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Cincinnati. His research interests include injury risk biomechanical analysis with a specific emphasis on preventing and rehabilitating lower extremity injury.
Dani McBride, PhD
Dani McBride is an epidemiology Post Doc Fellow currently investigating the impact of environmental exposures on neurodevelopment. Her additional areas of research include care farming for mental health and community-engaged research.
Rachel Zeiler
Rachel received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Olivet College. She is currently a PhD candidate in Environmental and Industrial Hygiene at the University of Cincinnati. Her research interests include environmental stressors and their impact on the bone fragility and neuromotor functions.
